MISSION

Amplify parent voices, build community power, and successfully advocate for the conditions that will create the best educational landscape for our children.

The demand is clear: Rhode Island families are advocating for increased school options! Rhode Island families submitted nearly 28,000 applications into a lottery this year for the chance to secure one of 2,475 available charter school seats for the 2023-2024 school year. In Rhode Island’s urban core, 23,724 applications were received. While there isn't a single educational model that can perfectly accommodate every child's needs, the availability of choices through charter schools acknowledges the diversity of learning needs, enabling a more tailored and empowering educational experience for students.

Application submitted by City:

    • Providence: 17,108

    • Pawtucket: 4,097

    • Central Falls: 1,440

    • Woonsocket: 1,079
